Joining
You can join the affiliate programme from the Shopinbos app or website if you are 18 or over and have a Nigerian bank account in your name or your business’s name.
We may decline or remove an affiliate whose content or audience is not a good fit, for example content that breaks our Acceptable use policy.
In short: Anyone 18+ with a Nigerian bank account can apply.
How you earn
You get a personal link and code. When someone signs up through your link and starts a paid plan, you earn the commission shown in your affiliate dashboard at the time they sign up.
A referral counts when the new seller signs up within 30 days of clicking your link and has not had a Shopinbos account before. If two affiliates refer the same person, the last link they clicked counts.
In short: You earn when a new seller you referred starts paying.
How you are paid
Commissions are confirmed 30 days after the referred seller pays, so refunds and chargebacks can be taken into account.
Confirmed commissions are paid to your bank account once a month, when your balance is at least ₦5,000. You are responsible for any tax due on your earnings.
In short: Confirmed commissions are paid monthly to your bank.
How you can promote Shopinbos
Do: share honest reviews, tutorials and your own experience, and say clearly that you earn a commission.
Don’t: send spam, post fake reviews, offer cash back or rewards we haven’t approved, run paid search ads on the words Shopinbos, Rex or Peggy, or pretend to be Shopinbos.
Don’t sign yourself or your own businesses up through your own link.
In short: Promote honestly and say you are an affiliate.
Ending the programme
You can leave any time. We can remove you if you break these terms, and we won’t pay commissions earned through breaking them.
We may change these terms or end the programme. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email, and pay confirmed commissions earned before the change.
In short: Either side can end it. Earned commissions are still paid.
